About the Foundation
In Memoriam
Jared Jeffrey Jenkins was a beloved brother, son, and community member whose warmth and spirit touched everyone who knew him. He was taken far too soon in a vehicle accident in September 2014 — a loss that left a profound and lasting mark on his family and friends.
In the years following, his family began learning more about vehicle submersion accidents — how common they are, how survivable they can be, and how many drivers are simply unaware of the tools and techniques that exist. From that knowledge grew a determination: that Jared's memory would not only be honored, but that it would actively save lives.
The JJJ Charitable Fund was established in 2025 as a living tribute to Jared — a way to ensure that families across Arkansas never face a moment of helplessness that education and a simple tool could have prevented.

What We Do
Our work centers on a narrow but critical window of time — and a gap in driver education that we believe every Arkansas family deserves to know about.
Partnering with driving schools, DMVs, and community organizations to bring submersion safety into standard driver education across Arkansas.
Providing spring-loaded window punches and seatbelt cutters to new Arkansas drivers — especially those who may not have the resources to purchase them independently.
Raising awareness through community events, partnerships, and advocacy — building a network of Arkansans committed to water safety preparedness.
Every tool distributed, every driver educated, every life saved — that is his legacy.
